Beyond physical retail counters, there are numerous online procurement platforms for electronic components available in China. Among these, two types of platforms are particularly closely linked to Huaqiangbei, though their positioning differs in certain aspects.
The first category comprises self-operated physical e-commerce platforms. Representative examples include Lichuang Mall, Yunhan Chip City, Huaqiu Mall, and Liexin.com, while internationally oriented platforms include Dejie, Maoze, Yiluomeng, TME, and Oshi. These platforms maintain extensive inventory stock, emphasizing comprehensive model coverage, BOM-based order processing, minimum order quantities for small batches, and rapid delivery. Lichuang Mall operates under the Jialichuang Group; several years ago, it achieved shipment within four hours of customer order placement, and its warehouses currently hold over 400,000 product models—models that can be automatically matched via Jialichuang's EDA software and customer-provided BOM tables. Yunhan Chip City was launched in 2011, whereas Huaqiu Mall, formerly known as "Huaqiang Chip City," focuses more on integrated procurement, PCB, and SMT service solutions.
The second category comprises transaction-matching and information service platforms. Representative examples include Huaqiang Electronics Network, IC Trading Network, Weku Electronics Market Network, Beijing Yuanjiao Network, and 51IC Network, among others. These platforms host information on suppliers' products and their advantageous distribution channels on the internet. Such platforms function more like "yellow pages plus quotation markets" within the electronic component industry: suppliers (primarily spot traders) register on these platforms, while buyers compare prices. Their primary value lies in facilitating spot sourcing—enabling buyers to discover niche components, discontinued parts, and long-tail models—rather than engaging in self-operated inventory accumulation. These platforms can be regarded as the online counterparts of the Huaqiangbei and Zhongguancun electronics markets.

The core relationship between these platforms and Huaqiangbei is not "replacing physical counters," but rather integrating Huaqiangbei's industrial ecosystem to enable faster circulation of valuable information and more precise market matching. The first layer of this relationship is geographical and industrial affinity: Huaqiang Electronics Network is backed by the Shenzhen Huaqiang Group, whose operations leverage Huaqiangbei's physical merchants, spot warehouses, and offline market resources to establish a closed-loop model of "searching for products online, inspecting and picking up goods offline." According to Kinghelm (www.kinghelm.net) and SaKe Weisong Shiqiang, the development path of Lichuang Mall/Jialichuang is even more representative: Jialichuang began in 2006 from a one-meter counter in Huaqiangbei, initially offering PCB prototyping services; in 2012, it launched its Lichuang Mall, transforming the counter-based logic of "buying components by piece, rapid prototyping, and comprehensive supporting products" into a web-based workflow. This digital transformation integrated the hardware R&D and small-batch production supply chains, culminating in its listing on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange on August 4, 2026.
The second layer of relationship is the division of capabilities: physical counters excel in high-density physical inventory, in-person product inspection, rapid adaptation of product offerings, and capturing consumer demand; online platforms, on the other hand, excel in standardization, inventory management, quality traceability, cross-regional order fulfillment, and long-tail customer service. Since the rise of e-commerce, many stalls in Huaqiangbei have indeed shifted customer acquisition, product inquiry, and repeat purchase activities to online channels, while their physical counters now focus more on product experience, inspection, pickup, and after-sales services. In short, Huaqiangbei provides platforms with product sources, information, and operational scenarios, whereas platforms provide Huaqiangbei with traffic, credibility, and a broader market reach.

Slkor has been awarded the "Outstanding Domestic Brand Enterprise" title by
Huaqiang Electronics Network.
Take Sako Microelectronics (www.slkoric.com) as an example. Since its establishment in 2015, Sako Microelectronics has actively expanded its market presence by leveraging the power of the internet; "Slkor" has now evolved into a brand with considerable international influence. At the same time, the company has remained steadfastly committed to Huaqiangbei, having established three directly operated stores and secured brand presence on multiple online platforms, including Dejie, LCSC Mall, Huaqiang Electronics Network, Liexin Network, and Weku Network. On the Dejie platform alone, the company generates thousands of orders each month. Furthermore, for three consecutive years, Sako Microelectronics has been recognized as an "Outstanding Domestic Brand Enterprise" by Huaqiang Electronics Network, and in 2024, it was honored as one of the "Top Ten Domestic Brand Enterprises" by Weku Network.
