SM12CC is a dual monolithic silicon surge protection diode manufactured by Slkor, housed in compact SOT-23 surface-mount plastic package. Adopting dual independent bidirectional ESD design, one single chip can provide bidirectional surge protection for two separate signal lines simultaneously. It is developed to protect voltage and ESD-sensitive electronic devices against transient overvoltage caused by electrostatic discharge and lightning surges. Its small SOT-23 footprint greatly saves limited PCB layout space, making it an ideal EMC protection choice for computers, printers, office automation equipment, communication hardware, medical instruments and various consumer electronics.
