Diode principle

??The principle of diode is that when direct voltage bias is generated, the external electric field and self-built electric field restrain and eliminate each other, increasing the diffusion current of carriers, causing forward current, thus conducting electricity. However, when the reverse bias voltage is generated, the reverse saturation current I0 will be generated, but it has nothing to do with the value of the reverse bias voltage, so it will not conduct electricity.
